Forza Motorsport 4: March Pirelli Car Pack out March 6

March 5, 2012 By Dan Thornton Leave a Comment

Last updated on July 27th, 2020 at 05:50 pm

On Tuesday March 6th, 2012, another 10 cars will be added to the Forza Motorsport 4 catalogue with the March Pirelli Car Pack, which covers a reasonably wide range of automobiles from a station wagon to a prototype endurance racer. That again increases the official Forza Motorsport 4 Car List, and comes as part of the Season Pass subscription, or at a cost of 560 MS Points

Forza Motorsport 4: March Pirelli Car Pack out March 6

March Pirelli Car Pack Car List:

  • 2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato (Villa d’Este) – Concept car to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original DB4GT Zagato. Features a 510bhp V12, carbon ceramic brakes, carbon-fibre driveshaft and a top speed of over 185mph. Comes with a full roll cage and plastic driver’s-side window.
  • 1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P – The 1971 endurance racer has a horizontally-opposed 12-cylinder boxer engine with twin overhead cams with 44bhp at 10,800 rpm. Weighing just 1400 pounts it dominated the 1972 Manufacturers World Championship.
  • 2012 Ultima GTR – A kit car with a 7.0 litre Corvette motor with 565 horsepower, the GTR weighs only 2,200 pounds.
  • 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 396 – A street sleeper muscle car with a 6.5 litre V8 and 375 horsepower.
  • 2012 Renault Clio RS – After 20 years of the Clio, the 2.0 litre 16-valve RS features Brembo brakes, uprated suspension and grippy handling.
  • 1966 Ford Country Squire – It’s a station wagon.
  • 1995 BMW 850Csi – A 5.6 litre V12, improved suspension, stability control and 372 horsepower.
  • 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 – Giorgetto Giugiaro bodywork, a 2.5 litre V6, near perfect front/rear weight balance and the winner of the 1982-1985 Touring Car Championships.
  • 2011 Wiesmann GT MF-5 – A V8 grand-tourer with a fibreglass composite body over an aluminum mnocoque chassis.
  • 1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza – Uprated version of the standard Corvair with 110 horsepower and unusual styling from the last year the Corvair was produced, with only 500 Monzas ever made.

Personally, we can’t wait for the Chevy Nova SS, which might be the answer to the power-deficiency we’ve had when racing our Chevy Nova until now. The Alfa Romeo GTV-6 could make for an interesting choice, as could the Clio RS. And the Ultima GTR should be an interesting high-end performer. Not sure about the Ford station wagon as a racer, and although the ’71 Ferrari is undoubtedly cool, it’ll need someone to fire up a retro endurance series for it to stand out – now there’s an idea!
