Expanding the higher end of the range from the Australian sim racing manufacturer, the new Next Level Racing F-GT Pro Cockpit launches to offer both Formula and GT layouts, as an official FIA licensed product which comes in at £899.
It’s built with a 50mm steel tube chassis finished in metallic gloss power coat, and can handle Direct Drive wheels up to 25NM and heavy-duty pedals. Particularly as it also has ‘industrial grade’ reinforcement including in the mid-frame and high tensile bracing plates. There’s a whole range of additional upgrades, including monitor mounts, keyboard trays or the shifter and handbrake support arm.
A big selling point over some of the existing options, such as the F-GT Elite 160, is the focus on adjustability. The pedal plater and wheel mount have a wider range of heights and angles to get the best positions, along with a longer recline range for the backrest. But you’re also able to switch quickly between Formula and GT positions using five adjustment points, without needing any tools. Which is great if you swap between different types of sim racing and want the best and most authentic seating position for each car.
Other features include an extended chassis with longer extrusions to accomodate taller sim racers more comfortably. And the choice between a black or grey finish.
