GT racers have a new option for sim racing as the Fanatec ClubSport Podium GT3 Endurance Wheel launches as a wheel rim, or packaged with the Podium Button Module Endurance.
The rim is available as a standlone purchase as the ClubSport Wheel Rim GT3 Endurance, if you already own the button module, currently listed at €129.95. It has a 318mm diameter and weight of 700g, with CNC-machined black anodised aluminium and rubber grips. And it’s compatible with the Podium Hub or ClubSport Universal Hubs.
You can tell the wheel rim is designed to be used with the Podium Button Module, as it includes longer 25mm bolts to fix it. If you’re not using the module, you’ll need shorter 16mm bolts for it to fit.
As a complete package, the Fanatec ClubSport Podium GT3 Endurance Wheel comes with the Podium Hub, Podium Button Module Endurance, and the Podium Advanced Paddle Module for €579.95, saving on the price of €659.80 if you bought them all separately.
That package gets you a customisable OLED display with RGB LEDs, inputs including 10 buttons, two 2-way toggle switches, a 2-axis analogue switch, 7-way FunkySwitch and two 12-position switches which can also be used as endless rotary encoders, and the magnetic shifters using Hall sensors with different paddle modes including clutch, handbrake and also brake/throttle.
Fanatec has also launched a 3-pack of QR2 Wall Mounts for €24.95, so you can use the ABS injected plastic mounts to store your wheel rims on the wall or any other structure which allows you to fit two screws.
