If all goes to plan, Team ORD will be competing in the TCR 2014 4H of LeMons race on Sunday, December 28th. The idea behind it follows the 24 Hours of Lemons, which is an endurance race for cars costing $500 or less.
The Forza Motorsport 4 version allows cars costing $10,000 or less (with a few additions that really shouldn’t cost more than $10k), to compete in 4 stints of 60 minute races. Two classes are available, with an Overweight Class running at B500 with a minimum weight of 2800lbs, or the Underweight Class with a maximum C425 and 199hp, but no weight restriction.
The only other rules are that no Forza aero is allowed, and a Race Rollcage is mandatory.
The amount of options available with such a large car list and open requirements has meant that so far we’ve been lost in testing a handful of possible cars. The plan at the moment will be for Badger Gravling and BigBen0913 to run as Team ORD in one car, with a potential solo appearance from Th3Lobst3r, who guests with ORD on Forza 4 whilst competing for DBUK on Forza 5.
