The first in a trio of paid content cars has arrived for the drifting game developed by ECC Games S.A, with the Drift CE Toyota Supra Mk4 DLC released.

Costing £1.15, it’s the first of three cars which will be available as DLC from the Japanese manufacturer, with the Supra Mk5 and Chaser JZX100 also coming in the next few weeks. They’re all models which will be familiar to fans of drifting and JDM cars, as popular choices for pros, amateurs and enthusiasts.

The fourth generation Supra was produced between 1993 and 2002, with the 2JZ engine in the GE model also available with a twin-turbocharger GTE version, putting out 220 and 276hp respectively. And the turbos were upgraded for the export versions of the GTE, raising it up to 321hp, but since then tuners have been able to produce 2JZ engines with insane 1000+bhp figures.

The changes to the Supra weren’t just limited to the engine, with a number of weight reduction measures including aluminium parts, and a 51:49 weight distribution helping the handling. It also received various cosmetic tweaks over the 9 nine years of production, along with newer models getting features including a tiptronic gearbox, factory REAS suspension, and carbon-fibre steering wheels.

And the Mk4 was obviously also immortalised as the car of Brian Connnor in the original The Fast and the Furious as a replacement for his Eclipse.

You can buy Drift CE (formerly Drift21) for the PC via Steam, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store, or the PS4 and PS5 via the PlayStation Store.
