There’s just a couple of weeks before the latest game in the official series is released, and a new Monster Energy Supercross 25 video shows career mode, highlighting the changes made from previous titles.
The new career mode will see you start in the Future class with a personal manager to help guide you through the ranks and new features as you move through the 250SX and 450SX classes. Your journey will now be split into separate Acts, with each chapter featuring specific quests and goals. These culminate in Climaxes, special races with specific goals and rivals to beat, and your performance in each will shape your career progression. After you’ve climaxed, so to speak, you’ll be able to compete in special custom-made MX tracks and Rhythm Attacks sections.

Along with the racing, you’ll also need to navigate the new Social Network hub, which allows you to face and interact with supporters and rivals, impacting your reputation and the offers you get from the top teams. You’ll also need to get on with your team to unlock bike improvements and track performance. So if you want to develop the best motorcycle, you’ll need to build the best reputation you can.
It’s an interesting mechanic, even if a lot of real-life racing champions weren’t known as being particularly easy to get on with during their careers.
There’s still a little bit of time to pre-order the game, with bonuses including a copy of Monster Jam Showdown, and the Season Pass DLC roadmap has been shared with two 2-stroke bike packs among the extra content already planned. Other changes for this year include the new graphics and physics engine, track deformation, and all of the 2025 tracks, riders and liveries included at launch.
You can find Monster Energy Supercross 25 for the PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store, the Xbox Series X|S on the Microsoft Store, and the PS5 via the PlayStation Store. Or you can buy physical editions from retailers including Game and Amazon.
And keep up with the latest Monster Energy Supercross 25 news, updates and more, here. April 2025 is a busy time for developers Milestone and fans of motorcycle games, as MotoGP 25 is also launching at the end of the month.
