Project CARS 3 Power Pack DLC and Update 4 Out Now

There’s a new circuit, various game improvements, and four new paid cars to drive with the Project CARS 3 Power Pack DLC and Update 4 both out now.

All Project CARS 3 owners will now get access to the new Lake Valley Speedway track, which comes with four different layouts. The fictional circuit in Utah offers a figure of eight, and also features night racing.

Along with the free circuit comes the Project CARS 3 Power Pack DLC, which is the third group of new cars to be added post release. The previous releases were the Style Pack and Legends Pack.

Project CARS 3 Power Pack DLC

The latest DLC for Project CARS 3 focuses on four Japanese cars, with two classic examples and two modern choices. Particularly notable is the fact the Nissan Z Proto is included, months before the car is released in the real world.

The DLC also includes 16 themed events, 12 liveries, 20 decals, 5 patterns, 5 rims, 10 tyres, 10 license plates, 5 race numbers, and 1 new character with 10 outfits and helmets, plus new achievements and trophies.

A classic Japanese sports car which competed in rallying, touring cars, and helped to create drifting with the combination of a high RPM 1.6 litre twin cam engine, light weight, and great handling.

A dominant force in both Japanese touring cars and drifting, featuring a six speed manual gearbox and limided slip differential.

The 2020 Nissan 370Z (+ Race Conversion)

The fourth generation 3.7 litre V6 produces 332hp, and comes with a SynchroRev Match which auto-blips for downshifts.

Due to go into production in 2021, the Nissan Z proto features a new twin-turbo 3 litre V6 engine and manual six speed transmission.

If that’s not all, there’s also Project CARS 3 Update 4 to download for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Project CARS 3 Update 4 Changelog:

  • Added one new track: Lake Valley Speedway
  • Invites: Tweaks and fixes
  • Bahrain: Fixed various camera placements
  • Rivals and Playlists extended with new events
  • Increased update rate for the delta-time in HotLap
  • Optimized memory usage (to correct several leaks and crashes)
  • Photo Mode camera clipping into the new cars in the garage fixed
  • Fixed a crash that occurred while returning to a lobby with a disconnected controller
  • Fixed visual upgrade brake offsets not being applied when using bodywork upgrades
  • Fixed an issue where customized vehicle thumbnails would appear grey if the user remained in the lobby between races
  • Fixed several issues that would result in crashes, unresponsiveness, or incorrect data displays when returning from watching replays
  • Ford Fusion: Reduced steering lock by 7.5 degrees to add some safety net for the chassis solver
  • Porsche 959 S: Fixed wiper-mask texture size
  • Logitech TRUEFORCE fixes and improvements
  • Race loading stall when users alt-tab to minimize the app fixed (PC)
  • Fixed mouse cursor disappearing if race loaded in windowed mode (PC)
  • VR: Potential fix for various reported crashes (PC)
  • User can no longer see the custom plate and name from blocked users (PS4)
  • Fixed an issue where users were able to bypass password requirement by joining via friends list (Xbox One)
  • Fixed the passworded lobbies to always request a password (Xbox One)
